Christmas Ornament Swap

It was a pleasure to take part in the New Zealand Handmade Christmas Ornament Swap for the 2nd year and hopefully my ornament and card has made it to my swap partner, Jo :)
Thought I'd show you how it came together..

I formed the base using a silver foil bead and wire and selected some Christmassy charms - going for the icy type look so used white and aqua beads!

I hammered and textured the loops for extra strength (and because I just plain like hammering!!)

wire-wrapped beads and added to the main loop

it didn't feel quite finished, so...

An aqua foil coil bead was added!
And because I couldn't help myself, I made a mini ornament to go in the card...

I hope you like them Jo :)
