Felt Favourites Showcase and a bit of Craft Jam

Going bright, bright, BRIGHT this week with my 'Felt Favourites' Showcase.

How fabulous are these items by .. Moki Designz, The Wardrobe, Rose Among Thorns, Ginga Squid, Marian Smale, Tinch, Wild Ones, Luxford St and Jac Ber?  Absolutely fabulous I say!

Fabric fish magnets set of 7 - rainbow colours
$15.00
Wild Ones - Flower Hat
$30.00
Pool Table Messenger Bag - Pool Hall Green
$85.00
Royal Blue Crocheted Fingerless Mittens
$17.00

I also wanted to quickly make mention of the great event I attended on Tuesday night.  Fruit Bowl Craft Jam for Christchurch was held at the Opera Kitchen and featured beautiful 'suitcase stalls' (literally the contents of a craft stall displayed in a suitcase!), an amazing auction of donated craft wares, live acoustic music, wine, coffee and fun.  All stall fees, auction proceeds, door entry, and wine sales went to the Red Cross Christchurch Earthquake Appeal and totalled a fantastic $2732.  Jess and Jo ... you rock!!

I tried hard to get pics to but the place was so packed it proved very difficult!!

Unassuming from the outside!

So busy on the inside it took several attempts to get a clear view of Joy from Kazzalblue's suitcase stall

Thank you kindly Kim - still getting the hang of an app on my recently purchased phone - results are random!!

  4. Hey Nin, Cool huh, stall-holders had put a lot of thought into making their suitcase displays look good - it was fab.
p.s. it's the least I can do, and doesn't feel enough. I just want you and my other Christchurch friends lives to be back to some sort of normality as soon as possible. It's my biggest wish at the moment.
