Some Advice Please...

I've looked at my website shop layout choices so much I can't decide which style I like best and I'd really appreciate your help so I can settle on just one!  Which of the below layouts appeals to you the most?

1.) 4 column gallery with pic and prices only and click to view descpription and more pics

2.) 3 column gallery with pic and prices only and click to view description and more pics

3.) Single product which shows description beside pic.

Thank you very much (in advance)  Mel  :)

  3. I like the first one Mel. I like the 4 columns cause it means less scrolling. Pic and Price is good, if something catches your eye you know exactly what it costs and if you want to know more then you can click for the description.

  4. Hi Mel,
I like Number 2. It is less cluttered which sets your pieces off better. Pic and price is good. You can get the details if you are really keen. Joy

  7. hi mel if it was me i would go for number 1. Because i can quickly see everything all at once, yet it is still very tidy and compact. :) Rosie

  9. Hi Mel, loving your blog, looks great. I like pic no. 2 , the three column one, it shows your pieces off better and doesn't look so clutter, the last one is too sparse.

  10. Hi Mel. Ok I can tell you a couple of things because we use the same host and site designer. The 3 column layout is good because it fits everything on the screen of computers that don't have widescreen. It is easier for someone to scroll down than it is to scroll down and across the page to see everything you have. Boutique mamma website templates don't like having more than 3 items across the page, they tend to do funny things to your page layout. The other thing I discovered when I tried the third option, was that for good search engine results, the more pages your website has, the better recognised it is in the major search engines. So if a person has to click on each item to view the details, it means they have to open a new page. The third option only has a page for each set of items you have on that page, and not a separate page for each item. Wow what a long comment - I hope it makes sense to you :)

  12. I like option 1, but after reading Bobbie's comment, would go for option 2 if the 4 columns were going to cause problems on computers without wide screens.

  13. I think option 2, as option one seems like alot to look at all at once, and option 3 maybe too little to look at. Looks fabulous! :)

  15. Thank you so much everyone. I've been bouncing between 4column (no1) and 3column (no2), then saw the single product (no3) and thought that might be easier to view, but you've all convinced me that the 3 column is the way to go by a 71% majority - yippee decision made :) Thanks again.
